This class is great for older babies (from 6 months) and increasing playing, fun and communication between you and your baby.

We combine music play, instruments and BSL Signing songs and games to help you and baby to communicate using signs before they are verbally able to. This combination helps build important connections in the brain, boosting sensory development, babies motor skills and communication skills.

With lots of time to play with baby through musical action songs, signing songs, eye co-ordination and counting songs, instruments, puppets and lycra & parachute games.
All whilst making new friends, baby will learn to interact and socialise with others in class and the weekly changing sensory toys and games will encourage them to explore and learn.

Signing with your child significantly improves communication at an early stage, and reduces frustration for both parent and child and helps reduce upsets.

The signs are easy to learn and simple for both adults and children, with memory tricks and tips to make this course unique and the signs rememberable. The BSL signs are used throughout the UK and learning BSL is a life long skill for both you and baby and enables you to communicate with more people throughout your lives.

Using signs together with spoken language and music establishes two way communication and enhances babies early language development and have both been linked to greater use of vocabulary, speech and books.

This course is suitable from 6 months to walking and runs to school term times throughout the year.
